Grand Finale: Singing For a Good Cause in Central Florida

Last night was the Grand Finale for the first annual Sing to End Homelessness charity singing competition I auditioned for a few weeks ago! It was for a great cause and the event turned out great! I've already started thinking about what I want to do for next years' competition.  ;)

The event was held at the Discount Music Center event hall at 3301 Gardenia Ave Orlando, FL 32805 which ended up being the perfect size venue for the event! Next year I feel like they're going to have to go bigger though! There were 20 finalists competing to win the chance to perform on a Compilation Benefits Album put together by A Grateful Mind, a brand new Gibson Les Paul Alpine White Electric Guitar (which was gorgeous!) and a musicians prize pack.


Although I didn't win the competition, it was awesome to be able to help support a great cause doing something I love! It was also a great reason to bring family and friends together to appreciate all of the talented singers in Central Florida! I'm hoping to be able to find more charity competitions like this that I can participate in.
