This is how we do Cinco de Mayo in Orlando!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

As much as I tried today, I couldn't hold back my cravings for taco's and tequila! We had more than a few choices to celebrate this year but ended up going to Rocco's Taco's in Dr. Phillips for their biggest block party of the year!

We've been here more than a few times before but never for one of their Cinco de Mayo block parties! It is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Orlando because of the fun atmosphere (even when there isn't a block party), strong drinks, awesome food and of course the guacamole that is prepared tableside to order! We didn't have a chance to eat there tonight since it was so busy but we definitely took advantage of the good music, complementary peach-raspberry margaritas, loaded coronas and the people watching!

You could definitely tell that some people had been there for a while which made some good people watching! We had a blast and would definitely go back again!

What are your favorite spots for Cinco de Mayo? Have you ever been to Rocco's Taco's?

  1. I'm from a small town, most people probably don't even know what cinco de mayo is. :(
